There are two fictional TV series I love watching: House M.D. and Dexter. Both main characters are the best at what they do. That must be the thing I admire the most in a person.
Apple may be one of the most praised companies. What I love about them is that they genuinely believe that their products are the best. They are neither shy to show them nor afraid to boast about them.
I believe that if you don't try to do your best, there is no point in doing anything. Probably a sign of my choleric temperament, which Wikipedia defines as:
A person who is choleric is a doer. They have a lot of ambition, energy, and passion, and try to instill it in others. They can dominate people of other temperaments, especially phlegmatic types. Many great charismatic military and political figures were cholerics. On the negative side, they are easily angered or bad-tempered.
So there it is: find something your passionate about and always try to do your best. My two-step solution to happiness.
