E

Hello E, I would love if you would be the future of social networking! I am talking about E, a service that enables you to integrate a bunch of existing social networking and solve a real problem. When you meet a new person you may one to network with, you might want to exchange online identities. E makes that easy(it works great on mobile phones). It automatically adds that person’s profile to all your existing social networks accounts. You don’t have to add the same data to twitter, soocial(both supported at this time), last.fm, del.icio.us et cetera. Also, privacy is not an issue as you can define profiles like business and leisure. When used, E exchanges with your new buddy only the services you want.

The chicken and the egg problem

People will recommend something if adoption improves their lives. Seth Godin

The problem with this service is that both partners need to have an E account so that the transaction can work. This comes with a spin. Because the service is so needed, it will drive the early adopters into badgering their friends to adopt it. I, for one, will try to push this as much as possible so that in the future, one can exchange online identities with people only in matters of seconds.
